Parole Liaison

 

 The Parole Liaison provides the N.J. Department of Corrections and the State Parole Board with a better understanding of the sentenced inmate who is housed in the Somerset County Jail, as well as insuring the proper classification and placement of these inmates and develops an appropriate parole release plan for sentenced inmates.

The Parole Liaison compiles a variety of documents and information such as Court Commitments/ Judgments of Conviction, Pre Sentence Investigation Reports/ Criminal History Reports, classification information, detainers, and other pertinent information which all comprise the Parole File. Information in the file is used to determine an inmate's parole eligibility and develop an appropriate parole release plan.
